Re: Coming soon - it's here..

Well it's here at last  :y. It has been for a while actually, but time to get it ready for a few photos has been limited. I'm actually waiting for one more boot badge - but thught I'd proceed without for now
Just managed to catch the last of the evening light, my usual photo shoot spot is closed off, so went for the more industrious backdrop - not ideal, but you get the idea  ;)

If the weather is bright enough tomorrow - I'll try and get some with the sun on it, but thought these looked a bit moody. I do like the black and white ones  :)

Any way - here we go  8) :y

Black & White - quite like these

They're on the list Biggriffin if I ever get round to it - I agree  8) :D 8). I was a bit apprehensive about the wheels too until I put them on. They are probably on the limit of being bling - but actually brighten the black just about right IMO.  I'm sure as you say, not everyone's taste  :y. Refurbished standard Elite wheels will go back on once the winter returns though  :) - I like them too  :D

Personally I don't take to much notice of likes and dislikes about my cars, the main thing is,if it pleases my eyes, then that's all that matters. The main point is that it's another car that's surviving and being cared for.I actually love the way the car looks and I think the wheels give the car a more up to date look, because lets face it.....15 year old original style wheels umm!  :-\ Nice one Ian :y

Personally don't like the wheels, it also is crying out to be lowered but only about 40mm or so.... the wheels would benefit and the look you are trying to get will also be a lot more obvious than the 4x4 stance it has at the moment...

BUT - Its your car and if you are happy with it, thats all that matters... doesn't matter what anyone else says...

The gap between the arches and the wheels is way too much for me, the wheels look lost...

Whats with the pictures, only half the car is showing in all of them...?

No pics of the full car...?

Nice paintwork though TBH, very shiney and I take it you've been busy with a mop...?

Please don't take any offence at what Iv said, it's meant as a personal view not a critcism to yourself...

No offence taken at all - seriously life's too short  :y. The ride height - seems to settle when parked,  or on the move. Maybe stopped with the engine running,  the self levelling gets a bit enthusiastic? The photos - I get the same on  my mobile but you need to scroll left or right to see all of it. Fine on my PC though  :-\. Headlights - started with 2400 grit and worked up to 4500 followed by 10 minutes with a DA polisher - spent about 30 minutes on each. Need to do the fog lights next. And yes it's been thoroughly clayed,  corrected, and Swix waxed .

This is one of the reasons why I don't bother putting  pictures of my cars on here...especially when a vast amount of time and money has been invested in keeping the cars in the best possible condition over the years. No offence intended!! :)
