Any advice is referred to as bullying by some , seen it so often when I was working & been accused of it , so when the individual concerned got a smack on the nose from a prisoner I took delight in telling them " I told you that would happen" he tended to listen to experienced staff after that incident.

When the wife observes a lesson or has someone in the office, she always has to have a witness....taking notes. Stops all the 'He said, she said'. It's the way of things nowadays, I'm afraid.

That's why I turned promotion down when I was offered it Steve, couldn't be doing with all the nonsense that went along with it & for the extra few quid a month simply not worth the hassle.

The Home Office has been in a complete mess for years and needs a strong hand to try and sort it out. 

I've no doubt that Priti Patel can be blunt and forthright and I've also no doubt that the Civil Servants have been quietly trying to obstruct things like the new immigration system, so something had to give.

It did quite publicly when that snivelling little shit Philip Rutnam went public, obviously in an attempt to bring her down. There will be a media/twitter hoo haa for a bit, which I hope she survives.
