608 new deaths today in the UK with Christmas on the way. Over one million new cases in America during the last month with Thanksgiving even closer. Since the announcement of a vaccine, people seem to think they're ok to disregard the dangers, but it's a long way from over.

I agree, but the government seem determined to let people travel and mix over the holiday. The genie is out of the bottle and, even if they had second thoughts, folk won't take any notice. Even if cases start tapering off towards the Spring, the final tally will be huge.

And as for Cuomo kicking off because the police have said they won't be enforcing his rule of ten. They've enough to be doing without going door to door to see if all eleven people living in the same house are all wearing masks at dinner.

Here, there aren't enough police to do the everyday stuff, let alone trying to police religious holidays.
