Great news
🙁 those days are over for me. On a brighter note it’s going to make way for another edition to my fleet 2011 XF 3.0D portfolio 😁😁👍My omega has developed a fault too, it will only go in 1st or reverse. I’ve had enough now, anybody want to take it off my hands?Manual swap it...
Or a DTM 2.5 - they were producing around 400bhp, but seem to be rare as rocking horse shit. I seem to recall one company bought them all up and stripped most of them for parts for the hill climb lot?
I've bought 20l of this oil for the Omegas from Smith & Allan and it seems fine. Difficult to say anything other than that - the engines run sweetly on it, no mayo in the filler neck, and they've ve not gone bang....
It is the correct API and ACEA rating for the Omega too.
I did look at Mannoil too, but I wasnt convinced, and I steered towards the Smith & Allan from past experience of their oils.
I've have also used their ATF and EP90 gear oil in my Triumphs and it has been absolutely fine. I would not hesitate to buy more when the time comes.
Their prices seem pretty good too with very quick delivery.
