On my Omega b 2.6v6 I suspected the shock absorbers are bad and went to check (a bit more rocking car left & right and forward when braking they drop down and going up and down and then fit when return)
measuring show the front 39% right and 42% left and rear two a little over 60%
and buy a new front shocks (gas)
After the installation I did not notice any improvement (perhaps little or nothing) and after a month I go again to test and it show front 41 and 42% and rear again approximately 60%
I went where I bought them and they make new test with results: front 68 and 70% and the rear 80%.
I do not believe this results due to the behavior and the rear have nearly 300,000 km showing 80% and they are better than the new front ?!?!?
Vendor will accept the complaint but the procedure is to be sent to the manufacturer. Manufacturer make test and if they are poor they take all costs and if they say that they are OK I pay, and that would be more than a new shock absorbers
It's a little lame that the manufacturer decides, I think I should tell someone impartial.
