The amazing omega passed its mot today 
couple of minors slight oil leak from diff and engine .....no drips on drive so can;t be much so another Omega lives on

Andy is it just pull on the black round plastic piece or does it screw out ,as all i could do was take outer cap off? thanks

Doc when you say unplug loom does one end come away from door? i took black round cover off and exposed bunch of cables after peeling back rubber towards car pillar but had limited room for inspection ,i really want to avoid door off as help is not always forthcoming

Peeled back rubber cover near door hinge to expose wiring,all seemed ok , i've now realised if i raise /lower switch on drivers side i can move passenger window up and down (fiddling quickish with switch as such)with drivers door shut ,passenger switch still no go ,any thoughts please

Took switch out and apart,cleaned contacts ,reassembled and then tried it in car. Firstly didn't help with window operation, but after operating nearside front window using drivers side window switch it would go down but not up again! Strangely to my luck/surprise the only way to get window to go up was to have drivers door open ,then operate drivers side window switch ! Passenger switch still wouldn't work even with drivers door open ......any ideas please
