INDICATOR STAYS ON (PASSENGER SIDE)
« on: 02 January 2013, 17:08:59 »

I own a omega 2.6 v6 of 2001 reg which has a problem with the passenger side indicator wont go off it just stays lit all the time. Can anyone shed some reason why this has happened?

A quick test is to repeatedly press the hazard switch about 20 times.

Does that (temporarily) resolve it?

I had the same problem. there is a grey coloured relay up behind the passenger glovebox
part desc.
 89 96 23 - 12V 20/12A - GM 90 060 264 / VAUXHALL VECTRA/OPEL/CALIBRA

Its a bugger to get to. you may have to remove the glovebox. This relay flashes the indicators when the alarm goes off.  You CANNOT start the car with it removed as it is part of the alarm system.

Got one off ebay for a tenner.
