Ok, just had my first go. Turned it on and moved in obvious methodical steps with my leathers on, big leather gloves and safety goggles that coverd most of my face (found them in dads tool kit).

used it on some mild steel that I c clamped down to the work bench.

quite scary at first. turned it on with no load and made sure everything was good.

couple of minutes just getting used to it and I got a little bit of confidence.

new chapter in bear world  :) :) :) :) :) :)

ok, another question (sorry lol)

it says in my manual that the safety guard is only suitable for grinding. wonder why? is there a universal 115mm cutting safety guard you can buy one trusts?

Be aware of loose clothing including safety clothing getting caught in the grinder  :(

Just a general warning.. Watch where you place your legs when using the cutting discs, a mate was using one and the disk snaged then jumped straight thru his jeans thru his thigh and stopped on his thigh bone. Lets just say he has never been near a grinder since
