Title: Cannot open rear passenger door.

Hi folks. I have a 53 plate 2.6 Elite Estate. I cannot open the rear passengers door. It is impossible to lift the button or open from inside or outside. Is there an easy way of removing the door card without damaging it to get at locking mechanism? Thanks in anticipation.

Lower the window, and from the outside, pull the lock button up.

Thanks Doc. Tried that and it still won’t budge. Button will not lift.

Use mole grips.

Leaning against the back edge of the door as you do it might help ;)

yes you have to give it a good strong pull.
