Title: Sunroof PCB board and disc

Anybody got a surplus black siemens sunroof pcd assembly available.

Mine has developed the dreaded "mystery opening and closing syndrome" and despite removing the control disc,thoroughly cleaning it with switch cleaner as maintenance guide it still seems to be possessed  :o

Hi Andrew...just a wild shot, have you tried resetting it by pushing the knob up and holding for a few seconds. Mine played up, but a few goes as I described, and it started working ok. As I said, just a long shot !! :)

Hi Tony.

Yes done the lot.Reset/disconnected battery over night/dismantled control unit and cleaned the magnetic disc thing and still doesnt like it.

Some days it stays closed...others it can open and close almost every few minutes ..no telling when it will open.

I have now sourced another control box so will fit that when it arrives and see if that cures it ...if not fuse/relay is getting pulled as rarely if ever use it as its just too noisey and spoils my hair ;D ;D ;D
