Which bolt - one that holds black sandwich plate to head, or manifold to black sandwich plate?

I can't do before weekend though, due to injury.  But that could be your fallback if nobody else comes up with anything

First question - where do you think you have you lost it? Need to make sure it hasn't dropped into your inlet ports especially, or any other areas such as into a suspension component etc. Of course, if you put all the bolts down on the bench, and then later lost one, it's not such a concern.

Assuming you're convinced it's not been dropped into the inlet ports - just use any old bolt of similar length (with the same thread) - readily available at B&Q, hardware stores etc.

Further tip - the "new" bolt with have a shallower, hexagonal head, so to make it easier to place it and tighten it, use it at the very front of the manifold, where it can be more easily seen and reached.

Assuming I'm recovered enough by then, and assuming your location means Lode between Cambridge and Newmarket, I might be in Fordham next week ;)

Yup.  I suspect it'll depend on 2 key things...  ...how many evenings out with the team I'll have to endure, and how my knee holds up with the driving.

1. I'm sure you'll cope  ;)
2. Want a man-up pill?  ::)

BTW, Cakey says you know that you're welcome here? Despite the pretty crappy time lately!
