Airbag Light...

The airbag light on my new 3.0 Elite Estate comes on when the key is turned to ignition position 2 (as it should) then goes out when the engine is started, then a second or so later comes back on...any thoughts on what this could be (just wondering if the light initially going off then back on gives any clues to fault??)

Sadly its indicating a fault.....the off and then on buisness gives no clues.

Needs the codes read and the fault addressed...before the light can be turned off.

I guess the question is, has it always been like this or is it something recent that occured following any specific work?

Dunno, only just got the car...drivers seat does kind slip half way between forwards and back...
