went into thurlow nunn in great yarmouth and they checked by the chassis number and reg number and they reckon its 90492006 according to their computer i said about part number90540743
and they guarantee its not that one
anyway have ordered it will be in monday
so we shall see
£79 +vat 

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but EPC is wrong! I had the same issue last year and ended up with the wrong part, 250 miles from home

Good news is that the correct one, which is the p/n you quoted, is about half that price on TC   Give them a call tomorrow and get the correct one ordered in too, just in case

My spare 90540743 is in the boot! And that's the same as what Vx fitted years ago to mine. 

(I'd only had the car a fortnight & I'd lost patience with the bl00dy thing & just got Vx 'to fix it!'  :-?)
