General Discussion Area / Nothing to do with Omegas

But I've had a great morning, serviced the wife's clit, oil, oil filter, plugs and air filter.

Then set about Waxoyling the underbody, how much easier it is with a car on ramps.

Made a slight alteration.

It's own general chat section.

The friendly banter that goes on in here is a bit of light relief from the other serious aspects of this forum.

You can share chat with people that have the same interests, i.e. our beloved Omegas.

Once again a big thanks to all concerned for setting this web site up.

General Discussion Area / Slagging off the Omega Autobox
« on: 22 August 2006, 22:28:14 »
There's a guy on the 'other side' who's really slagging off the Omega auto box.

He's got an Omega, but say's if you've ever driven Merc's or BMW's you'd know what an auto box is really like.

Why own an Omega then?

Name 'Old Cruiser'.

Been giving a little TLC to my wifes 13yr old Renault clit (you've guessed) auto.

Cleaned most of the underside, treated patches that needed it with Kurust (very little actually), then treated with Waxoyl including brake pipes etc.

The car has been garaged from new, what a difference it makes, only 24K miles on the clock.

General Discussion Area / Consistency of Waxoyl

Bought a Waxoyl kit, what should the consistency be, the pressure can, even when heating it has the consistency of grease.

I thought it should be very thin.

Just added a link to this site on the www.renaultforums.co.uk, there's a section for adding links to other car sites, can't do any harm.

Can you see any of us owning an Omega when it qualifies being a classic?

Have you seen what the Mods. have done to the banner, top right? :(

On the 'Other Site', if you PM a member with a link to 'another site', you will be banned. :(
