2000 2.5 omega - appart from spanners and sockets etc. what tools are essential/desirable for cam belt change. Any details of good places to access tools needed appreciated
p.s. I have ordered club DVD.

You will need the GM V6 locking timing kit, cannot do without whatever people may say.
A good selection of torx sockets will be essential as well.
Other than that, its straightforward enough, just take your time.

Autovaux - http://www.autovaux.co.uk hire out the locking kit - £100 deposit and £15 a week hire fee.
I'd say the DVD is a must have - I followed it religiously on my 2.6 and i managed the job fine, having never done it before.
You say 'apart from spanners, sockets, etc' - a 30mm swan neck spanneris preferred too. Adjusting the tensioners without one (i.e. with a 30mm socket instead) is a bit fiddly.

V6 locking kit is a must
30mm ring spanner
Torque wrench
Torx male & female sockets
15mm & 13 mm o/e spanners
5mm allen key
Broom handle + big hammer (to remove stubborn crank pulleys!!)
