Any opinions on the best adhesive to fix the angle at the top inside of the front door card.I did read about screwing it.
-
Gorilla Glue, two strips of wood and some g clamps

I used two part epoxy from Poundland on mine.
Plus two strips of wood and some G-clamps :y

I bought my blue estate with all door cards loose at the top 3 years ago, and they are still loose. Does it matter?

Tend to find the door pins will rattle if the top of the door card is detached.

Does it matter?
No.
But it does spoil the rest of the interior, and is easy to fix.

fully agree Nick :y

Used that on mine . . worked a treat :y cannot remember how I held it place while it set overnight though. Wedged up with cardboard with the door shut I think :-\ :-\

I always use Evostick impact adhesive. Based on the fact that it was the only impact adhesive sold by Brakkers DIY

There has been some reference in the past about using small self tappers to hold the trim until the adhesive sets. I personally don't think that is a good idea or necessary as you run the risk of damaging the inside trim. As said Gorilla glue or 2 part rapid setting expoxy resin has worked fine for me in the past.
I also open the jaws of the clips slightly prior to refitting, as its the unnecessary tightness of these clips that causes the trim to pull away from the door card in the first place when knocking the door card upwards to remove it.

good point about those clips they are tight and make removing and fitting a pain :y
