Title: Cambelt Party - Feb 08 - West Midlands
Post by: TheBoy on 08 January 2008, 17:52:20
The pieces are dropping in to place, but we plan to have a day changing cambelts etc.

Location: West Mids, between Wolverhampton and Telford
Date: One Saturday, Mid/Late Feb 08

Numbers we can do are depending on number of helpers.

Still need to find out how much space we have available, plus some other logistics with regard to food etc...

Quote from Timbuk:

The unit will hold about 25-30 cars at a guess but without me loading it up it is difficult to tell. Realistically i would think we would be able to work on 15 cars with plenty of room, the yard outside is just as big so there is no problem with overflow or cars waiting but i don't really see space being an issue. If it rains a barbecue can be lit inside as the unit is very tall and plenty big enough. It has an upstairs for storage which would be a great place for taking pics.
I'm sure EP will tell me if i'm wrong as he has seen it im sure he will agree with me that there is more room than we will ever need

i've never changed a v6 cambelt before but i'm sure i can do it with a bit of guidance.

there's also a cafe and a burger van right by the unit iirc.
