Safe CDR500
« on: 25 February 2007, 22:01:02 »

Hi peps,
After fixing ma headlights and generally messing around with the electrical system, Imagine ma delight to find ma juke box in safe mode ! Pls control yersel - laughing too much hurts !

Does any one know a way of sorting it ?????

Perhaps maybe a replacement HU that would still allow the display on the dash to function !!!
OOOOH by the way, money at the moment is to tight to mention, so value for money has got to be the order of the day.

I guess you don't have the code?  Check the manual folder.

If you have lost the code, or if like me never could find it, try http://www.radio-code.co.uk. Have tried them a few times and a lot cheaper than local VX dealer and quicker. :y

If it was the original radio, and you have lost your carpass, you can get a new one from dealer (shop around as they vary from £12.50 to £32.50) - as well as radio code, this will have other codes for car, including immobiliser, which may be required by locksmith/dealer if you ever need to program new keys...

Fanx ! Lads !

At Last ma sounds are blasting once again and I'm equipped with a new key just incase !!!!!

The web page was scary as i don't like to give out bank and password details so of to the local dealer once again was the only answer, but thanks for the info all the same as I was able to download the correct way to input the code -- which as they say is music to my ears, 8-) :y ;D
