Really ought to drop the fuel tank to gain better access to the brake line 
I shall try the socket method first to shape the bends and see how it goes 
Surely there must be a pipe bender for these specific jobs , would make it easier .

Still like the P6 but think i would take the 2.2 rather than V8 as only driving sedately these days

Went through a brick wall as a passenger in Allegro It did drive home though 
I'm not jealous of the lovely straight panels and gleaming paintwork.. mine looks like scrapyard fodder with all the scratches rust and brick shaped dents over most of the panels courtesy of the local druggie chav scum..
nah it's not damp or anything and wire looks good. I've got a feeling I forgot to put a tip on it
