Just block up the other end of the guttering so the other houses water doesn't come down your guttering..

Omega General Help / Re: Changing rear springs question
« on: 06 August 2012, 15:03:10 »
Half way threw the job.

Bottom shocker bolts are out but I can't seen to get them to seperate   >:(

Is it just a case of beating the cr*p out of them to get them to part or is there a simple way ?
Something like that ;D

Is it an Estate?

Saloon ones tend to just drop out, Estate ones are slightly angled I think and can be a right pig!

I managed to separate the shock from its rubber bush  ;D ;D

When we changed the springs on my estate we (mistakenly in hindsight) pulled the shocks off the rubber bushes because we couldn't separate them from the arms, then we had a pig of a job to get the shocks back over the rubber bushes

GRR.

I have just the basic package that comes with a card. Just tried the grand prix channel and it is subscription only.

What channel number is it please?

I have virgin media without the sport channels but to get F1 channel would cost me £27 per month, I'm not paying that !!

F1 is 516

I didn't realise, or maybe I misunderstood, that the last stage is not contested...?

Only the sprint is contested, and hopefully the sky team will drag Cav along to win that one...

Does she keep it in one of the Amazons original leather covers, it might sound a bit strange but they have loads of problems with the clips on the cover messing about with the Kindle, mine included (just google it) Locking up and resetting itself.

Amazon will reimburse the cost of the cover, they did for me.

I would appear the problem is the paint on the clips, the new ones are plain metal, i have since scraped the paint off mine and its now working fine..

they do seem to go off backwards then take off....... :y

Quite a few years ago they added the little flaps on the roof to stop that, a lot of the video was made before then..

Omega General Help / Re: Vauxhall Detachable Tow Bar Bracket

My bumper is bent as well with the tow bar. Just bolted it all in place with the bumper bent underneath, didn't fancy cutting it and making a mess of it..

I'm a bit of an F1 fan but I definitively won't be paying an extra £27 per month to Virgin Media to watch it in HD, i'll wait till its shown on BBC1

I was fortunate enough to be at the filming for this episode, the BMW Brutus was incredible, at the end of the show they drove it out of the studio to take it away in a trailer. The noise when it started up was LOUD !! There was a sort of removable cover over the exhaust but they chose not to put it on. I got this photo just as they turned the corner then it went fish tailing up the road setting off car alarms as it went and spitting flames !!

Unfortunately Guys there's no such thing as road tax it was abolished in 1937, its a vehicle tax and doesn't help to pay for the upkeep of roads that all comes out of national and local taxes.. So cyclists and motorists all pay for the roads..
