Ssangyong Korando
« on: 22 October 2014, 20:20:38 »

9am tomorrow morning I'm picking up swmbo's new car. She ditched the duster idea after we test drove this on Monday. Must say I'm quite impressed with it.
Feels really sturdy on the road, good ride position, looks good, loads of room inside, good boot space and just feels solid inside and out, much more so than the Duster. Good level of spec, loads of goodies as standard.
And it comes with a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty.  :y

I quite like the look of it. Haven't a clue how to put the link up, but if you do, she's plumped for the red colour

It features a choice of 2.3 litre and 3.2 litre gasoline engines or 2.9 litre diesel engine, all produced on license from Mercedes-Benz, accompanied by a 5-speed manual Borg-Warner gearbox. The interior of the second generation Korando was unique because it had a steering wheel arch on either side. This was to make converting to right-hand-drive easier and to cut down on production costs. On the passenger's side, a handle was fitted in the arch.[11] This generation was sold as the Daewoo Korando from 1999 to 2001, as Daewoo bought a majority stake in SsangYong, but was later forced to sell its shares.

They do have previous for ugly, checkout a Rodius. Actually, if you're squeamish just take my word for it.

The Rodius is a proper shitter, although was talking to an owner and he rated it as a towcar,he wasn't worried about it getting nicked either :-X
