Nice future classic...

Shame about the Cat C, but pleasantly rust free and a decent spec :y

Had it lined up as a potential Trolley replacement.

I had a w202 C180 a few years ago. Quite a nice car, apart from being woefully underpowered.

With 148 bhp, the 220 is a good all rounder in the absence of choice of early 280s...

As STEMO would say......
"Another one who hides the reg so you can't do mot history checks"

selling well mind £5k+  ;D

The bidders obviously haven't factored in how much cardboard and P38 filler it will need to make it a solid road worthy car again  ::)

Original link is gone .. but if it's old enough to be tax exempt then I imagine the intention is more likely to be putting the VIN onto an entirely new bodyshell...

That's quite the project! Then again, for the right person it's entirely doable.. I have been watching videos of a guy making a Porsche speedster entirely from scratch, hand forming every aluminium (well, he's American so aluminum ;D) panel by hand - very impressive and I don't doubt he could restore something like this.

The only question is, would it be financially worth it at the end?

At least the accident prevented a lot of the rust and resulting shitty repairs :)

But there are a couple of important(expensive**) bits missing....
