Spent a couple of days fettling with the MV6
« on: 13 September 2008, 17:48:16 »

I decided to pull my finger out and do a little work on the old MV6

Fitted new:

Front Disks,
Front struts,
Rear shocks,
Pads all round,
Replace Brake fluid,

Wheels were looking dodgy so decided to give them a once over, didnt have the time to deal with the anthracite so just concentrated on the peeling laquer:

Before:

During:
180's grit an the Jazzer disks, then hand sanded with 400's then good old SolvoAutosil and finally some single pack laquer:

After:

Looking a little cleaner:

Next is Zaust / decat, chip etc

It took me and one of my lads at work almost a whole day to do, we may look at doing them properly (2 pack antracite and laquer) once we have a free day again.

Good job there, and such a simple job to do. A clean set of wheels makes a hell of a difference to the whole look of the car.
Well done :y :y
