Had a Toyota Hiace Supercustom  that needed re-gassing, Halfrauds did it for £30 and it was ice cold until I sold it 2 years later, think I will try them tomoz for the Omega

They don't re-gas just use a tin of ezzecool,  take it to a local garage cost £45 at most, sometimes there's deals on Groupon.

That's what I meant, anyway it worked great, how about those canisters on ebay, anyone tried one of those ?

That's all Halfords use.,, Won't find any leaks you might have, that's why it's worth getting it done properly.

Or get the air out from a system that has let air in (likely if its lost enough refrig to stop working), nor get the moisture out, nor get the lubricant in.

Don't waste time, get it done properly.
