Replaced passenger wiper moter now noisy

Would a spray of WD40 on the arm from the motor help? eBay part to pass MOT, as the previous motor had failed.

Usually needs a bit of white grease on the link arm joints which is easier to do if you pop the mechanism apart.... be very careful when doing this as it's possible to snap them...

WD40 might resolve the issue for a very short period of time but highly likely to wash any remaining grease out

WD40 isn't really a lubricant, but a water displacer (hence the name).
