Omega General Help / Diesel engine types
« on: 08 December 2007, 15:31:00 »
Hi, please can some one inlighten me on this problem, I've just been searching the web for Diesel Tuning companies and found one which has me intrigue, on it's list for Vauxhall / Opel Omega's it has two 2.5 ltr diesel engines listed, one is 2.5TD (Ref code DH18) the second is a 2.5TDi (Ref code BMW-B). The first has a power listed at 130 bhp and the second as 150 bhp, this is before chipping. What is the difference between the two engines

« on: 09 January 2010, 22:24:33 »
Hello and Happy New Year to everybody,

I was wondering if anybody can help me, I am trying to draw a wireframe object in Rhino 3D. I've seen a object on "YouTube" and I want to try and copy it, so that I get used to my CAD program, but I find it hard to do. I can draw solid object, but some how the wireframe is harder. If some one can help me I would be very greatful.

This will make you thank your parents, that you live in the Uk and not New Zealand.
I've just been watching "Motorway Patrol" on Men & Motors, there was a copper in New Zealand that pulled over a Evo 7/8 not sure which, for doing 169 kmh in a 100 kmh limit  :-[, it had a $4,000 suspension kit on it, which lowered it very nicely, but this copper said that it made the car very unsafe to drive and gave the driver a "Pink sticker" for the window screen, which means that the car can only be moved via a tow truck.  :(

Obviously this copper might know all about speeding etc etc, but when did he become an engineer, he had no idea what he was talking about. He thinks that because the Evo was lower, the handling was going to be bad and unsafe, how very wrong he is. As we all know in this country, if you lower the car, with the right stuff, it's handling will be much better.
This program make for good watching, as half of the coppers have no idea on some of the stuff they give out tickets for  ;D ;D ;D

Did any body have a look in the "Sun" today on page 39, it the world's fastest road vehicle, it's a cool £1.5m. I think that a tad to much for Hayabusa engine tuned and turbo to 800bhp, how long before something lets go  :(
