Know your pain. Makes me cringe at the condition of some/many that are broken for parts on here. (but the parts have to come from somewhere, of course)
Will there be a cosmetically mint Omega appear some time soon, but with a stuffed engine, maybe snapped cambelt, for instance? In which case you swap over the mechanical/trim/spec you know to be good, thus creating a 'minter'?
The next answer may be, break it, therefore knowing all those good components are keeping other Omegas alive and running across the country. Having paid £200, you'll get a large proportion of that back in weighing it in. Being the Elite, it's chocked full of all the goodies people are after.
Next option is to pour the money into it, a full restoration, effectively. To be honest you've got the better half of it - what I mean is you've got a mechanically sound car, with rough bodywork. That's a lot more preferable to a clean shell, but full of mechanical niggles, and bits constantly failing.
