How much is my car worth?

Hi

I've had my car for a year now and after doing lots of work to it I'm now wondering how much it could be worth.

It a 2002 omega saloon 2.6 v6 CDX it's blue but looks more green

Spec

Air con with sun roof, electric windows, electric and heated mirrors, cruise control, sterio buttons on wheel, cd and tape player, cloth seats, electric rising and heated front seats, ski hatch, exonlights, facelift model, metallic paint.

Work done on car

Exhaust mid rear boxes
Wishbone
Track rod
Cam gasket seals
Cam belt plus pullies
Front and rear brakes including handbrake
Water pump
Full service
Coil packs
Anti roll bars

Engine and hadleing is perfect.

It's got a few minor scratches and a little dent in drivers door but you don't notice it.

Seriously day, it's probably not worth as much as you've spent on the work you've had done. Omegas are keepers or give-aways these days.

Fair enough, not planning on selling it was just curious, I paid 500 last year and 20k ago. The work I've mostly done my self except for cam belt and cam gasket that rob on here did. So overall cost of £1000.

Planning on welding diff and taking it to santa pod dwyb days. As getting a BMW 530d just waiting for a bargain to come up, want a 2002 or newer model if anyones selling one.

What's wrong with a BMW, engines are brilliant and very comfy cars. Plus I need a reliable car for work as I travail from south England to Scotland on a regular basis. If they did a newer omega I would get one but all new vauxhalls are crappy front wheel drives and made of plastic. I think omegas were the last real car vauxhall made.

 :o Errrrr no. Look up timing chain 1 series / 3 series. Or main bearing failure on 3.0 d engines... or vanos failure... or nikasil... or petrol tanks splitting in half... or just about any other extremely expensive non warrantable failure. Not to mention the worst dealer/national customer service going.

If you want reliability buy a jaguar.
