Pictures of Wycombe meet August 17th
« on: 18 August 2013, 20:02:48 »

Thankyou all for your really nice votes of thanks. Its a pleasure to host a meet that appeals to members. I am honoured that people travel so far, like Chatham, Huntingdon, Southend, etc.
A really nice evening was had by all at the pre-meet evening meal at the Brewers Fayre on Friday.

Faces are, Left to Right....Christine (Mrs Terbert)...Ann (Mrs Rog)... Ken (Nitro)... Tony (terbert)... Rog (Rog)... Al (Essex Big Al) Sally (Mrs Essex Big Al)..Carole (Mrs Nitro)

I hope the vid works...its very amateur, and I apologise for the wind sounds over his fantastic guitar playing.

And thanks to Ianu for the demo of claying and polishing :y

This came from Tooleaters scuttle....but still Biggriffin went in for more !!!

Oh dear....no pollen filter :(

 And finally.....
A big thanks to Martin for the box of Omega bits...helped a few members. Stay with us Martin...you still have a Vauxhall
And with the donations....we collected £70 to send down to Jane Lovejoy... thanks all

:y :y :y Brilliant Tony - love the video and the pictures.
So we had music & dance (although you missed it), motion pictures and still life, live demo's (cosmetic and technical), refreshments and food, pre party and post party - what more could we ask for  :-\
Great day everyone.

Cheers
Ian.

Sorry couldn't be at this one.
I do like the red saloon (I've said before that it's a really good Omega colour and really seems to suit it) :y

Looks like you were spared the rain whilst there? (water on the ground on some of the pics)

We were lucky Matt....we got through till about 2.30pm with sun and cloudy, then had a shower for a few minutes. After that it was dry but breezy, with an occasional threatening spot of wet but nothing materialised :y

That was Essex Big Al, .....he was brilliant, as you will have seen from the video. Just wish I had my camera out earlier, when he played 'Apache', 'Wonderful Land' etc. :y

Essex Big Al

Here he is. I took this when he thought I wasn't looking  ::)

He doesn't really like The Shadows and Stratocasters, in reality he's a real heavy metal dude
