Mondeo tdci help
« on: 07 February 2015, 07:01:37 »

I picked this up as a breaker but to be honest it seems to be in very good shape considering the miles and has had a shed load spent on it, new DMF and timing chain kit. I've only heard it run briefly due to being ill but the seller said it has full power, egr is clean and works fine, injectors have been tested and turbo is all good. I'm going to start with checking all air pipes for splits and after that maybe look  at the timing but any other suggestions welcome. The cat is worth £120 so I can't lose on it  :y

Diesels are a dark art to me ;D

He really has spent a fortune on that, the poor bugger. I'd have given up a lot sooner.
