Fuel tank vent probs.

Has anyone had any trouble with the purge valve on the evaporative emission control. I'm getting fault code 61 which means fuel tank vent valve low votage and its put the engine management light on. When the fault is cleared by disconecting the battery, it comes back on just as the engine temp. gets to normal, and stays on.
