Huge thanks to joshwyatt, Serek and Gixer
« on: 27 November 2016, 15:59:23 »

:y

Thanks to Serek for supplying parts to help keep the Silver Bullet going for a bit longer, and thanks to joshwyatt for providing transport to relocate the subframe from Serek's garage to chrisgixer's place, ready for a quick tidy up, then fit, hopefully this side of xmas.

The spirit of OOF lives :y

Yup. But as I tried really, really hard to find a replacement this year, and failed miserably, it has to stay a bit longer.

What about a German Tunniemobile?

He seems happy enough.

We've been down this several times in other threads. There is more chance of you getting a 1.6 diesel shitbox than me owning anything VAG have produced in the last 10 years.

And even STEMOs snot machine is more exhilarating to drive than a wannabe Passat

But you have to remember, the Ford Focus which is universally agreed to be a car that handles well. TB has a complete opposite opinion.  ::)

Indeed, god awful handling vehicle, with god awful engines - even worse than Vauxhall small engines, and you know what I think of them ;D

But then, I'm not a FWD Escort believer or a journalist on the waiting list for a GT40, so I give a 100% unbiased opinion on my own personal experiences as a one time Focus owner (well, technically, it was Mrs TB's car - but she thought it was crap in every way as well, apart from "it was a nice colour")

One I share: poor handling/ride is one of many issues I have with the Focus.

You wouldn't do that in a captur.
