Whoops forgot the MOT was due at the end of July.
Couple of days later the penny dropped & booked her into my local & she passed with a small leak on the rear box as an advisory.
Relayed this news today to the lads I work with & get a shock to be reminded that my car tax hasn`t probably renewed  :-\

Put new spark plugs in 1-3-5 bank, which appears to have solved cold start misfire issue. As codes reported that bank being at fault. (Pot 5)

Still unsure at coolant loss, did 25 miles to work and all good. Although another 25 miles at home
it had dropped a tad.

TBH, if you can't work on a Saab 4 pot, you should just take all your tools to the charity shop.  ;D

I've found them easy to work on other than some of the suspension bushes which are a pig to get at and some hard to reach hoses and vac lines. No different to any other we'd car I guess.

The most annoying job I've had to do to date, bar none is the crank position sensor on the Desmond. I don't know if I was doing it wrong, but it just seemed a complete b!tch to get at.  :-\

It is easy to work on as engine bay is big so plenty of room for most things although alternator looks a chore :-X

Took delivery of the little French piece of shite today. For the money, it seems pretty good......as long as it doesn't break down / fall apart in no time at all. ::)

So Albs is now a lover of all things 'Froggie.......'Did I just see a flying pig? ::) ::) ::) 8)

We all have moments of madness. I still hate all things French.  :P
Fuel consumption readout is currently reading 60.6mpg, but I shall be testing the accuracy of that in the near future.

Too late to repent. ;D

60.6 MPG may be a touch optimistic. A brim to brim test will prove it's accuracy, or lack of it. ::) ::) ::) 8)

No doubt he has taken to wearing a blue and white stripy jumper, paired with a beret and has started smoking Gitanes!  :)
