Turned the key and it started  :o Must get wet weather tyres fitted  :P

Finally got round to sorting out the broken Bose sound system, Binned the Bose and Put Two amps and a sub, Component speakers up front and some coaxial in the rear, and run by a pioneer Bluetooth Head unit...Happy Days.

Changed timing belt on 02 2.2 cdx,cam cover gasket on 01 2.2 estate and found 02 dti estate needs o/s track rod idler arm.

 Im sure what ive got on at the minute will cope with the hospital run once a week , just an anti pot hole guidance system needed  >:(

Now has two miggs in our house hold. Both 2.0ltr 16v lpg'd. a MFL and a FL.

On a V6 - oil smoke from under the bonnet at traffic lights, miss-fire, oil on the ground under your car ;D

I imagine it is easy to see if you have (one) leaking cam cover on a 4 pot :-\

How much did you top it up  ??? Mine never used any oil but that was the 3.0  :)

No idea for a 4 cylinder :-\
My old 2.5 v6 had done 200,000 miles and used to use a bit on motorways (approx 1/2 litre in 1000 miles) but didn't use much around town.

My current 2.6 v6 has done 170,000 miles so far and hasn't needed topping up between oil changes (which is nice  :))

cleaned the scuttle drains out on both cars, changed out the stereo system on the mv6 for my jvc dvd system, changed heater buttons for none worn ones on mv6, adjusted bonnet pull cable and froze myself in process
