Its not expensive to tax post 2001 cars my 3.2 2004 was £134 for 6 months!!

Simon your 2003 would be a better buy at least you know its origins and that its had a hard life the poor buyer of the pre facelift will be distraught when they come to sell it, for info mod and government cars often had elite on logbook in same way ex plod have mv6 but the spec was often gls with leather seats!

The MOD had a number of Omegas on close protection work the spec was all over the place ie leather but no elec rear windows they were a cross between police spec and normal as well as what can only be described as cobbled together! Some were manual and some were auto they were reg late as were sat in an aircraft hangar for a while!

don't laugh but drove a skoda superb with v6 2.5 diesel was very impressed interior was up there with audi/vw and engine had plenty of grunt but it is a fwd!!

if its still for sale let me know, vo is staffs or west mercia police i think! later ones were remapped for better throttle response and rev limiter removed!!!
