Hi all, as title, the thermostat housing on my 'limo' has decided to crack and I need it for Monday!
Anyone got one available, nearer to cambridge the better (tried Serek but his phone is making abroad noises!)

Hi, I'm having a big sell up of all my cars, 3 of which are omega v6's.
Starting with the best, I have:
1996 elite saloon
3.0 ex police engine and manual box
G cams, 3.2 headers, inlet box, no cats, hayabusa cans, C20le flywheel
Mv6 leather seats (half way through changing to black interior from cream and swapping wood for carbon effect)
Irmscher bumpers and skirts, ok condition, elite slab wheels, poly bush front arms, groved discs, welded diff, bilstein lowering springs, long mot. I think I that's most of it. Comes with spare box as first is getting sticky.

Next is a 3.0 1999 mfl manual mv6
Stripped out for banger oval drifting
Body fairly battered
Good mv6 cloth front seats
Cut springs
Ran fantastically before I 'borrowed' the coil pack
Welded diff

No.3 is a 2000 fl elite estate auto
High miles but long mot
3.2 engine (3.0 management) fitted but using oil (rings I think)
Lpg
Bit rough but been a good work horse

Also have 2 3.2 engines, one good one with knocking bottom end and various wheels, mostly elite slabs and irmscher twin 5 spokes.

Be good just to see the whole lot go as a batch, £2500ono for the lot, otherwise could split. Most interest would be in the blue saloon which I'd like 1700ono for

So my p reg bastard child elite isn't making sense. I've not had working cruise since I converted it to manual many moons ago. The relevant wires are connected etc and even the legend Serek had had a look for me, but no joy.
It had it when it was standard but appears to only have a 2 pin brake plug. I can't for the life of me find a clutch switch lead.

Any ideas?

Who's got a tech 2 near Cambridge? I can not for the life of me work out why the air con isn't working and same with the cruise control

Omega General Help / Random drop in revs/cut out

Hello all. New purchase (auto v6) has a few niggles in trying to address.

The main one is that I think it ticks over a little high and every so often it drops the revs and then picks up again. Sometimes it drops and cuts out, but it generally decides to do that when you're trying to pull out of a junction  obviously!
Other than that it does seem to be 'dragging' on the gearbox slightly when doing this so I have to knock it in to N. (This may be why I'm having gearbox issues but one step at a time!)

I've checked for air leaks both with eyeball mk1 and brake cleaner spray and nothing obvious. Another suspicion is possibly faulty coolant temp sensor as may be over fuelling?

Anyway, any ideas?

So I've lost the keys to my pfl 3.0. It had a separate alarm fob with an early key and I've borrowed a key, ecu etc from another car but has the later and more common all in one style key... How do I get that working with my alarm as the turn and click isn't working...

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Numerous issues! Air Con, Dash and Cruise...

(1996 mishmash 3.0 ex auto now manual)
First...
Just sorted out a long overdue aircon pipe issue (and swapped the compressor too)
Had it regassed but the compressor wont 'kick' in (and I dont remember the old one doing so either)
Has about .2v to the plug. Swapped the relay but no joy. Any ideas?

Second...
Also looked at swapping dashes from my early one with shagged MID to a laterish one with a good one.
Found the plugs to be different, so put my dash back in, now no MID at all and left hand backlight for dash not working 

3rd...
Cruise, I think I need to bridge the clutch plug (for now, until I get a switch) but cannot for the life of me find the plug! Any ideas?

I should of just left it all alone! Many thanks for any help

Hi guys,

Just a request to keep your eyes open as I had a set of (5) Irmy Mv6 Alloys stolen in the Cambridge area a couple of weeks ago. They were in good condition, grey middles and some lacquer issues on the shiny bits. Chances are they were pikeyed and scrapped, but nothing else seems to have gone so worth an ask.

Slight rub through issue on the pipe that goes into the top of my pas pump and then continues (annoyingly) across the front to the opposite side of the engine bay.

Even more annoyed my old v6 shell went to omega heaven a week ago

Who's got what? Need my car back before I end up visiting pirtek!

So having a thought... My (early) 3.0 with G-cams, 3.2 headers, no cats, lightened flywheel and rammness removed...

Would the long nose inlet off my old 3.2 be of benefit?
