About 18-25, 28 on a steady 70mph run at a push - I expect an auto would be worse.. while the Skoda averages about 50mpg on anything but hard town work*

*so whenever I visit the land of the roundabout ;D

Still, pretty clear footage for the Old Bill to file...
Nah, Police can't do much with that due to poor quality.  Most low end cameras are at best adequate in well lit conditions and next to useless in night mode.

Little bro has all big bro's offcasts from his shop, and has the footage for when Mum got done over, but its similar quality to above, and simply not good enough to use as evidence.  Big bro's new stuff that we've fitted in one shop, and currently fitting in the other (when the snot drains from me), however, yeah, that's impressive, even with the lights out :y

Despite trying, I can't get the average on the MV6 to go below 7.1mpg (same with instantaneous) across the dizzy town city, even though I know otherwise.  Methinks that FC's lie sometimes ;D

Had a run totalling 270 miles-odd. Managed 30mpg from the old girl. Barrelled along at 60-70 one way, onn the way back display was reading almost consistent 40mpg pootling gently behind HGVs at 56ish. Very happy with that.

Get her out of town, and the mpg skyrockets...  and is almost affordable!  :D

May possibly have got caught speeding on the A16 up to Spalding by the SPECS cameras.. was 'released' from behind a lorry (good fella, pulled over a bit each time there was a long gap on the long straight stretches to let people past) and then merrily zinged along at a wee bit over the limit before I spotted a yellow camera.

Oops. Two(ish) weeks of buttock clenching to go. ;D

Well they came out today to take a statement and a copy of the footage on USB stick (having viewed it on my phone, first) and I should probably say no more on an open forum  ;)

Replaced the front pads on the battlebus.  Off came the Pagid ones I put on a few weeks ago, but were unsatisfactory, and slapped on some GM ones.  After 20 miles, all bedded in, and the thing now stops :)
Found it on Saturday, and gave the brakes a proper work out. Yeah, all working properly now.

No idea what was wrong with the Pagids I'd fitted, but for the sake of £15-20, wasn't worth pissing around with.

The pads can now outperform the top quality Dubica Presto plastic tyres again :D

Broken the brakes on mine >:(

Was driving fine, then abs pump kicked off under normal braking and the lights, abs/check brake/DSC came on...

Still goes and stops fine, speedo still working, so thinking sensor rather than ecu issue and fluid fine. Oddly it won't automatically change up into top, but will if you do it manually :-\

Will be pulling the wheels off in the morning to check for sensor fouling. And hopefully the gearbox issue is a default limp mode rather than an unfortunate coincidence :-\
