The pain of moving house
« on: 08 March 2020, 22:15:06 »

Have spent the last month trying to clear and pack the garage away ready for moving house, what a nightmare. 20 Years of crap to sort through and 5 runs to the tip so far with more to come.
Anyway while sorting through I have found 2 Omega items that might be of interest to fellow owners.
Saloon rear panel, Gen GM old stock.
PFL front grill infill
Free to anyone who can collect from Coventry ASAP before they go down the tip.

You have my sympathy sorting through stuff accumulated.

I made a start and the very next week needed two of the things I had been hoarding. Confidence took a dent . Anyone remember poor Mr Trebus the hoarder?

Remember him well. Think his name was Dreyfus actually ? Great old character, but I would have hated to have lived next door to him.
I last moved house around 15 years ago, and hope I will never have to do it again.

Edit. Here he is.

You are getting confused in your old age. Dreyfuss was the guy in Jaws.

Both great characters.

I'm contemplating moving house, but then I look around at all the clutter and shudder!  :-\

Your right, and all I had to do was look at my own link to see it was Trebus.

Lots of wealthy types turning up here and buying perfectly good houses, knocking them down so they can build a Grand Design!  :)

Yes, I was thinking that as well as the Lincolnshire estates and the Welsh castle, he could do with a seaside retreat in the West Country.   :)

My house is always for sale at the right price!  :y

If that's "perfectly good" I'd had to see what "requires renovation" would look like! ;D
