More likely to be a duff injector, several other things or possibly a fooked pump. Not straightforward to diagnose either. French shite. That clit should have a hand primer under bonnet, have you tried squeezing that a few times before staring ?, I've seen issues with a tiny air leak letting fuel run back from the pump causing slow start,a one way valve in the supply line will stop that Park it facing down hill.

Started attempting to diagnose the cause of low fuel pressure making airfix 1 very difficult to start.I knew I would regret buying a lump of French plastic shite.
Not the best time of year to be trying to find the cause out on the drive. Its too cold and Im too old. Wont be much progress before the weekend as Im on nights until Friday morning.
Took the door card off of the Volvo's drivers door. Looked at a twisted bit of metal through a small hole and tried some gynecology with a pair of stilsons without success. Replaced the door card and came in for a cuppa.
