Heater
« on: 21 October 2012, 20:56:20 »

OK have posted before about not getting hot air from heater and as suggested flushed matrix and replaced HBV.
Today temp gauge read 85 all the way on a 180 trip (mostly MWay and just above legal speed) but even with CC turned up to 28 only get warm air.
Had a very nice Sunday Roast and then checked header tank and all OK.

On the return trip after 10 miles HOT Air from the heater even at 22!

Any ideas as to what is happening?
Thanks

First thoughts would be an air lock :-\
Try squeezing/releasing the flow pipe to the matrix for a few minutes with the engine hot & heating on full. Hope you sort it soon, the cold weather is well on its way! :( ;)
