Confirmation please..

Hi guys, have been told that the helpful & sensible parts guy at my local dealership has retired, that means that the dept is in the hands of the young stupid oik. I want the correct spark plugs for my 2002 2.6 can anyone please confirm the correct ones.Part number would be great

Info taken from my auto data disc shows
Plug Make     Bosch
Plug Type      FGR8KQEO
Gap              1,25---1,45

Hope this helps.

You can't gap an OE multi-electrode plug  ;)

But as a matter if course always check the gap - over the course of your life you'll probably waste hours doing this, however, if you spot one plug that's been dropped in its life, and bent the electrode, then it was worth it.  :)

I presume that the info from the disc means the gap is preset within these tolerances.The autodata disc's are a hive of useful information,not just for omega's but for most vehicles from 1990 to 2004 and have helped me out on many occasions.ie full diagrams of timing procedures.

Apologies, just always been told this as 'good practice' but in the case of multi-electrodes plugs it's not as easy I'll grant you.  :)
