Been searching but can't find the app i want so thought I would ask here!  

I need a small app that just sits in the tray, I want to be able to draw lines with the right click of the mouse in any program (flash8 ect..)

Basically for my project instead of creating booooring word documents for the paper work, I am going to create a few desktop capture movies. (record what my screen see's into a small movie with my voice describing whats going on)

So that i can explain my point on something i want to be able to draw a quick line ... something like Mouse Gestures for Firefox...



See the above were using Firefox MouseGestures i just quickly highlighted something, gestures are normally used for browser shortcuts, like back, open new window, forward, ect...

I want something like the above for firefox but for Windows and it works in all programs.... I can't seam to find a decent app they all do far to much and not just the simple thing i want!

General Discussion Area / Caravaning in Europe

Yep thats right the student bum might be going caravaning!

Sorry could not make SantaPod, too busy here with Uni stuff.

Going to save as much loan money as possible and travel Europe after my exams!

Planning to go with 3 other mates, my grandad has a caravan (4 or 5 berth i think?) hopefully we can borrow that!  

Plan to get a V6 or Diesel megga off eBay fix it up for the trip and sell it when i come back... for those people here who have carvans have any of you been to Europe?

Talking about driving ALL around it, France, go from Paris to Brussles to Amsterdam, Germany (have friends there), Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France again, Spain, Portugal... gunna spent about 2 months doing it.

Have a few questions though:

Any good recommeendations on books /  maps for listing or showing campsites around Europe?

I remember Martin Imber saying he got 14mpg when towing, does anyone have a Diesel megga and if so whats the mpg like that when towing?

The car will be loaded, big van full of stuff + 4 lads!


Any advice recommendations?


Starting to look now as its something to look forward to as Uni sucks at the moment!

Just rang Vx Banbury to ask how much for a CarPass since i don't have one, and need one to program my new key..... the cost???


£25!!!!   - Just for a bit of paper and the cost of them faxing Vauxhall....

Decided to ring a Vx garage near my nans and they said it would be £15 + Vat

Seams like a big difference, whats the cheapist any1 has managed to get?

General Discussion Area / New exhaust seamed to have a big impact on mpg

just before i came down to uni i fitted a brand new GM exhaust cat back, the old one was blowing. Thanks to TC saved a HUGE amount of cash... (thanks Jaime )

Not driven it for about 2 weeks, took it out yesterday to meet a friend. put air in the tyres since it had been still for 2 weeks and let it warmed up....

Reset the MPG computer, left tesco & took a blast down the M4, set the cruise dead on 70 mph.. 30 miles odd. Flipped to the MPG just as i was getting off the M4, read 43.8 MPG!  

Then did about 10 mins of town driving lot of roundabouts & lights getting to my friends, once i parked up checked again read 39.4 MPG  


Uni going well, friend i went to see had just finished the course i am doing.... wanted to see their work since it got them a First

Well on my final year... and wish I was back at my work placement!!

30% of my entire final year mark is a main project, I was not expecting it to kick off until mid october, but noooooo first meeting back on Monday the leader of the course was there..."Right submit your Project Ideas"  

For my final year project i can bascially do anything with in the field of Multimedia, websites, interactive websites, 3d, animation, sound, video, theoretical stuff... basically anything!!!!

So i have to submit a project idea and plan by Monday, and i have no idea what i am going to do.

Also i need to re-select some modules cause the lecture who was going to take them has been fired and there is no replacement  

By xmas, i need to have nearly finished my project and completed 5 assignments....

Hummm were's that beer i had.....

Well nearly all done, Project B sold and begining to pack up to head back to Uni.

For those that did't know i am about to start my final year at Brunel University in West London (Uxbridge)

I am studying Multimedia Technology & Design Bsc, and it will be interesting to go back.


Firsly I would like to say what a great time i have had these past few months, thanks to this forum I have saved so much money and bought 2 Omegas and sold them on for a profit almost doubling my money in both cases. I have meet so many friendly and helpful people, when i started i knew sod all about cars, but now i can replace DIS Packs, plenum removal, brake bleeds, oil & filter change the list goes on!

I would like to publically thank all the admins and in particualar TheBoy, he put up with all my questions and general dumbness when it came to cars. He has been so helpfull in maintaining both my main car and ProjectB, the Tech2 upgrades where usefull too, also we should be replaceing the brake discs this weekend. Thanks mate  

Everyone here as been so friendly, McB for showing me ProjectB on eBay, Omegatoy in Ardley, TD for offering to take me to an Auction... all top blokes  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

This is not good bye I will still be browsing the forum, and chatting to everyone. Never know might see an Omega ripe for Breaking and you might see even more of me

General Discussion Area / Yay Project B Sold!

Well Log book arrived on Wednesday, the car went on Autotrader late Wedneday night.

Turned my phone on Thursday morning, and had a message saying is it still forsale!  

Had a conversation with him, agreed to meet this morning.

Meet up, and he bought it!! YAY!!!!! Healthy profit too, so glad to get shot of it as i leave for University on Monday.

Must be USB, as the mini mac i will get does't have PS2 ports.

Always always take the whole log book with you from the seller, and post it your bloody self!

The guy i bought project B off nearly a month ago still has not posted off the bloody feking log book!  

Soo i sent a V62 off last week with the new keeper supplement attached, rang up today for an update.

"Sorry sir that takes up to 6 weeks to process due to secuity checks with the last owner"

 

Serisouly pi$$ed off, I need shot of that estate. As i want to spend the money from it on Uni stuff....

Just switched a few days ago, been using Firefox becuse i liked tabbed browsing.

Got to say, IE has done it again. Far better than firefox, faster loading, brilliant clear text. The quick view to show all you windows is apple type style class too!

Also like the way of navigating to favorites, and the way it pops back.

If you have IE6, i'd highly recommend trying IE7 Beta, no problems so far...

General Discussion Area / Breathers cleaned, BIG change.

Took my facelift for a run today, after the breathers had been cleaned.

All i can say is wow! what a change.... its much much quicker off the line in first, the engine feels a lot less "stuffy"

Also feel loads more of power from 3.5k revs onwards, its really noticable in 3rd pulling hard after 3.5 new surges in power i never knew the engine could do!

Vast vast improvement in performance  

Went over to visit Omegatoy in ardly, really friendly guy really knows his stuff. Fitted cruise on his '95 GLS TD Estate... worked straight away perfectly, did not need to be enabled    He was chuffed! Had the pleasure of driving it, damn that thing shifts!! He's had it chipped to 200bhp   - Also has a clutch from a 3.0 senator..!! - It is so so fast off the line in first.

Also interested to find out he made that Omega GLS Saloon with the full running gear of the Lotus Carlton....DAMN!!! wish i new he was so near, i would have been banging on his door shouting "give me a go, give me a go"
