Good Tidings,

Making sure of a few things.
1. Does the Omega 2.5 V6 uses the same type of Crank Sensor as the 3.0 V6?
2. Does the Omega 2.5 V6 uses the same ECU as the 3.0 V6?
3. Which vehicle uses GM 90 566 817?
Working on an Omega 3.0 V6. But engine installed and yet not strating. ECU in vehicel is as in 3 above. Will it work or need to get a 3.0 V6 ECO.
Quite a novice please.
Also in search of a 2.5 V^ engine in perfect shape. I cannot let my Miggy waste please.
Cheers
Bright

1. Maybe, maybe not. Three different types of sensors were fitted to v6 engines. IIRC 3.0 engines had always the oval connector BUT there's two of those with oval connector and no way telling what type you have unless you can take old one out and see what version it is..

2. x25xe and x30xe have basically same ECU, if ecu is from autobox car you need to bypass the safestart.

3. Seems like it's x30xe autobox ecu's part number.
