If your going to scrap them rather than donate them just bend them in half, ie put them at an angle against a wall or kerb then use your heal of your foot or a club hammer.

If you want to donate them, there are plenty of free Secure HD Format tools out there, your basically looking for a Government Wipe Standard, something that will automatically wipe, rewrite them wipe again to a minimum of doing this at least 3 times in one hit.

....

I believe the OP issue is probably using a PAYG SIM that has fallen off the System due to the 6 Month rule of not making s Chargable Call or Text within that period.

So those that have a tracker using a PAYG SIM need to trigger the alarm every now & then.  :-\
yep. ;)

CCRT700 are, as said, GSM 900mhz only. The CCRT2008 were Dual Band GSM 900 and PCN 1800mhz ( later to be known as International 2G GSM 1800), so the Orange and T Mobile Sims would also work on the CCRT2008.

Probably also worth mentioning that a lot of the Bandwidth on these Bands have been Re Farmed for 3 and 4G use now, so GSM Coverage now is at its bare minimum requirement and obligations under International Roaming Agreements.

It's also planned to allow the GSM Service to be concluded and switched off by 2025, so potentially limited Life left with these HU's now, although the UK does use this Service for a lot of Meter Readings, Remote Status Messaging for Utilities and Transport, so what the UK may do is still being debated although you don't need Digital Voice Bandwidth just to send a String or a few Packets of Telephone Numbers.

I believe the OP issue is probably using a PAYG SIM that has fallen off the System due to the 6 Month rule of not making s Chargable Call or Text within that period.

Another 4 years of Him, in 4 years time the way He's going we'll all be paying 200 quid a day to enter the inside of the M25, there be no Public Transport because TFL wil have gone Bust, still Bonus side we should be able to move around as there just be full of empty buildings with Servers running inside, might keep TB happy.

Just pull the Neg off the battery terminal and push it down the side of the battery so it's away from the neg terminal, takes about 10 seconds with the bonnet up.

I've got a 10mm plastic spanner (UPS Tool) about the size of a Key on my keyring for that very purpose.

Does it stay in with no Discs in the Mag. ?

Also if you really need to you can play a CD on the top single Disc Slot, you select it using the CD/CDC toggle button, obviously you won't be able to use Sat Nav whist in this mode, but guessing you should know the way Home by now.  ;D.                                                                                                                                          ........or maybe not.  :-X

Get under the Car and bash the f*ck out of the plastic fuel tank, preferably with someone cranking it.

Fuel pumps are common issues on these and sometimes a good wack can be a temporary fix.

It was - about 25 years ago. Promotion of any kind of fossil fuel is now completely taboo.
We have "progressed" you see.  ::)
Yea but BioLPG. It’s renewable and sustainable, supposedly.  :-\

Calor Gas reckon about 2p a Litre more to produce the stuff and by 20XX, can't remember the exact date now, All Butane / Propane will be 100% Bio, it's making big noises in the Alternative Heating over Electric apperantly.

Consider this for the availability of LPG: how many people do you know with LPG cars that aren't on this forum? How many cars were sold new as LPG? The old V8 RR Classics and Discoveries plus the other old barges that were a big part of the market are largely gone.

So the market for LPG has dried up and the retailers have better uses for the money to keep the supply going.

Just be glad you didn't 'invest' in a hydrogen powered car......
Whilst I don't disagree, my understanding is that the development of BioLPG was supposed to be the New Kid on the Block in terms of us reaching our Green requirements in the future.

So here's a thought, how much Import Tax on the Oxford Vaccination are we going to charge our EU Members when we leave with Brexit at the end of December ?  :y

Or we just going to give it away like everything we've invented over the years, I mean why change the habit of a lifetime.  ::)
