so far so good bud......what technical knowlege you gone into this project with? :y

Built a few trucks, did a 'proper' 4 year apprenticeship in fabrication, fitting and welding, worked on trailers, road tankers from building them to R&D, to destructive testing, then in BTCC, WRC and general motorsport from shell prep to full builds with DCRS, and then in building race/hospitality trailers for the likes of McClaren, Toyota and Jordan F1, Ford Subaru and ralliArt WRC, Foggy WSB blah blah .......... so plenty of experience of what might/might not work. :y

Also, anyone else considering a project like this could do worse than contacting The Ace:

Fair comment. But, just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean that you actually SHOULD.

Not my cup of tea at all. If I want a faster car, I buy a faster car. If I want a pick up, I buy a Van because it always rains. ;)

I like the fact that people will do a project with these cars.

The pickups look good, there are 2 being constructed AFAIR.

There are the 2.2 and 2.0 Turbo ones, the old Omegatoy Lotus.

All worth having.

I never had the opportunity to 'get to know you' before you took your ball in last time. But it seems to me that judging by a few of your recent posts you might want to take your ball in a again and leave an option for RB III as you only seem to be able to find fault in various aspects of the cars & the admins.  :-X

You been watching 'Pimp my Ride' or summat?

Have at it mate, cant wait to see the finished thing!

On a more serious note, you will have removed a lot of weight from the back end-Its going to be a bit skitish in the wet,3.0L etc.
Fill the wheel well up with Lead??
