Title: Amazon virus
Post by: dbug on 27 September 2013, 22:29:29
Heads up - there's a load of emails about supposedly from auto-confirm@amazon.co.uk, confirming an order(s) you may/may not have placed, which contain viruses.  They all are around 150K in size, with an "order no" in the title.  The attachment (supposedly your invoice) contains the infection.

Don't try and open the attachment - just delete the lot as soon as :y

Some were deleted by isp off mail server, those that got through were in fact marked and quarantined by my antivirus software ;)

Heads up was for those people whose security software may not be as efficient/up to date as mine (and yours) ;)
