At about 1800 earlier this evening I thought I'd quickly pop over to the supermarket before the big game. :)
I got about half a mile down the road in the Mundano and had a puncture in the front offside. >:( So quick pitstop, changed the wheel and went home to get the BMW. :y
Got to the supermarket, did my shopping, jumped in the Beemer, it wouldn't start! >:(
I sat there for about 3/4 hour looking like a right pillock trying to get the thing going and just as the battery was starting to die and I was thinking I was going to have to get the bus home, she fired up! ::)
Two hours later I'm home. Someone oppsing hates me! :-\ ::)
Oh and the other thing was that as I was only going to be 15-20 minutes I left my phone at home, so couldn't call out the breakdown! ::) I must have been a right nasty bastard in a former life. Karma! :(

Big game?
Not going too well in second half. Too much faffing and passing backwards. Mother in law says the pitch is too big for our lads.
-
I walk to the shops . . . . so, no such problems
-
Did I miss an important announcements on the teley box thingy. ;D.
Come on sir Tigger what's so important.you had to rush about, and run out of lectricy..
-
I'm still trying to get over the idea that it's took so long to realise someone hates you :D :D ;D
-
Thanks Baza! Yes you're right the title of this thread should have been Everyone hates me! ::)
Anyway new cam sensor ordered for the BMW, which hopefully will fix that gremlin! :-\
-
I think you might be due a name change, Sir Tig.. Sir Eore, perhaps? :P

You could always cycle to the shops. Cargo trailers to carry your shopping are not expensive at all ::)
-
I could have, but the local shops that are in walking/cycling distance didn't have what I wanted, so I was 'nipping' over to the next town where the big Tesco is. ::)
Anyway, by the time I had squeezed into my black lycra, and crawled up the steep hill out of town I'd have missed the game! ::)

But think of all the time you could have saved by running red lights, hopping onto the pavement to pretend to be a pedestrian when it suits you, etc etc
*hides from our cycling brethren* ;D

It wouldn't have mattered. Do you think any of the traffic wouldn't have been scared off the road by his black lycra outfit? :o
-
If I donned black lycra, the local ladies wouldn't be able to control themselves and it would be something like the end scenes of the Benny Hill Show! :o ::) ;D
So in fairness to mankind I don't bother and it has nothing to do with the steep hills here in West Darzet/East Deben! Honest..... ::)
-
No worries, as all of the exciting England action were in the 12 seconds of highlights on TV later, which would have saved 90 odd minutes of your time to do something more interesting, like painting a wall & watching it dry. :P :P :P

Is there any point in watching more than one game?
I saw one once many years ago, and once you have seen one..... ::)
Ron.

Yeah, right. I have a bike down there. I think I've only used it once to go to Bridport when I was stranded there with a dead Omega. Only 2 miles each way so no problem there, then. :y The journey back nearly finished me off. :o

Pah Bridders is relatively Fens like and that includes the people! :o ::) :P ;D
Anyway in other news, I took the Mondeo's flat tyre to get the puncture repaired and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. :-\
No punctures and it wasn't leaking around the rim, so they pumped it up for me and sent me on my way. ::)
It's still fine, so why did it go down so quickly yesterday? ??? :-\
I think the tyre shop guys thought I was a mystery shopper or something! ;D

This hatred thing must be catching! Got home tonight and found a plain white envelope[sealed but not addressed]on the mat.Opened it to find a letter from BUPA[who I have no connection with]saying "Welcome to Edmund House care home for the elderly" :o Cheeky sods :-X Then had a fortune cookie and instead of all the usual long life many camels in your tepee sort of thing mine said "Don't worry if you think someone is out to get you......because they are" :'(
