The misfires are usually external either from oil degrading the rubbers and affecting the contact between pack and plug, or water which condenses on the coil pack corroding it and causing issues.

246... Undo the cable tray bolts, then the coil pack ones and hoik it out. Just be mindful on refitting that you plug it in before bolting down as the plug can get crushed beneath it if you do it tother way ;)

I want to take the breathers /plenum off anyway to check all is good
probably got coil pack rubbers ,if the coil pack is duff then i may wiggle it out using your method when a replacement is sourced ,or just leave it in bits till i have everything,
yes it would mean slumming it in one of the astras for a day or so ,so be it  :(

I still think it's never been apart /on it's original plugs  currently @77k despite the service history   ;)

Word of caution Dave, misfire codes are caused either by water or oil... Just because the scuttle foam is dry, doesn't mean the plug wells aren't full of either...  ;)
Or a myriad of other things, including failing MAF on DBW v6, hence looking at live data ;)

Dumped the Battlebus in a carpark.

Picked up a Fiat Nondescript saloon.

If the fatty admin is off on a cruise then it may need a freighter for the return flight.

Don't think he's on a cruise, what would he want a Fiat for?

Petrol is about that here in GC, flags vary between £20-35... Biggest shock was that a litre of JD is €30 :o had I known, I would have bought some with me ::) Still at €12 a litre, Malibu is perfectly drinkable once the hotel bar shuts at 11 :D
