setting the year on the dash

had new 120amp alternator fitted recently and can set time netc but cant reset the year it just goes to march 2000 everytime i try to reset it so today 22 june 2000 the car was registered 04/01/2002 cant get that back.pain

Persevere with it, sometimes the buttons stick and skip past the settings you're trying to adjust ;)

I've got the same issue. I think it's a bug in the firmware, in which case we're probably just going to have to live with it.

And if you turn on the radio for a while? Doesn’t it auto-adjust the right date and time?
