to be getting that MPG out of your Cl-Eeyore, you must be driving like a girly  Nicole  :D
you will feel the benefit when you drive the Omega  :)

Maybe the display has an electrical fault? Oh, wait! On a French car? No, can't be that, then. ;D

Sold it ! Filled the Merc up a couple of days ago whilst there a chap in a Range Rover asked me about it said that he always liked the W210 but most were now rustbuckets, but mine was the best he had ever seen made me an offer & handed me his business card , paid a deposit today collects it Tuesday & I'm about £1300 up after 4 years 😀

All change in your fleet then!

What's on the shopping list?

Not really thought about it yet , possibly SL500 or C63AMG
but may just get rid of the Hyundai as well and get another Hemi Jeep.
This...

Should tick most boxes as a starter suggestion... Throw in another £10k and you can get 7 years old with sub 40k miles...

Which is nice 8)
Looks nice from the outside but don,t think i could live with a beige interior. Down to individual taste  really though. :y

And to think I used to like this forum.  >:( :P

I was driving it reasonably gently as it happens. Due to the fact I have no service history at all for it. The cambelt could be 4 years and 17000 miles over due.  ;D

On the drive home from work this morning my recently acquired C**o claimed I averaged 63.7mpg. I strongly suspect the little froggy bastid is telling me porkies. I shall brim the tank soon and find out.  ::)

I'll bet its not far out, cutomer of mine had a megane estate  with the same lump and he managed 64 on a run driving at 55mph, I said that must of been painful at that speed but he said it was ok as he was towing a trailer !!!

Yesterday, as I had a spare 30mins, I polished up the rather dull headlights on TBE.

Yesterday, I stole Gixers garage, and changed TBE's oil, and looked at the LPG issue.  Also managed to force down a breakkie that Mrs Gixer slaved over :)

Friday, TBE passed its MOT :)

Parts ordered for LPG, hopefully here this week.  I owe Gixer a couple of solenoids, seeing as I've destroyed his ;D

As she regularly reminds me, the only time I've ever bought her flowers was in the early days, when I bought her a rose fro a seller in a pub, because I fancied the arse off the seller ;D

Bit of a trauma. Took the pussy on its first visit to the tip. :o It seems to have survived unscathed. Fortunately it was quiet.

Got rid of a load of old Omega junk that had been sitting in the corner of the garage and wasn't even useful when I still had an Omega. ;D

Serviced Mrs. KW's MX-5. Oil change, brake fluid change and front pads changed. The latter got an advisory at the last MOT, but friction material was only slightly thinner than the new ones. ::)

Changed them anyway, as they've been on there for years and were starting to feel a bit "wooden".

Drove my aunt's new Skoda Rapid home from dinner. It's a 1.0 triple like Mum's Focus, but with important differences: it's smooth, responsive, quiet and drives properly. There's almost as much room inside the car due to not wasting 0.5m of length with a steeply raked windscreen. Although the sports suspension and seats aren't what I'd buy the interior doesn't suffer from a designer that ate too much cheese before bedtime, and the metallic green looks good on a nice little car. Makes me even more likely to by an Octavia or Superb at some point.
